I don’t usually comment on videos but your vulnerability made me want to share. Today is my 22nd birthday, and the last couple of days have been filled with a wide range of emotions. Some excitement, some sadness here and there, some joy, and everything in between. I graduated college a couple of months ago with no plans post-graduation, no career goals, no direction, just a whole lot of uncertainty. So coming up on another year of life… I don’t know, I just feel like I haven’t hit any of the milestones or achievements that I should’ve hit by now. But today I feel good. I’m feeling grateful for my family, for the security that I have in this stage of life despite the uncertainty, and for the little bits of progression that I have made over the last couple of years, which may not seem like much but have actually amounted to something pretty cool. Life is full of highs and lows and I think it’s important to take the highs as they come. And at the same time, I think it’s equally important to acknowledge the lows, because without them the highs wouldn’t feel nearly as monumental. So I guess all I’m trying to say is that you’re not alone in your sadness:) I know it can be frustrating to feel down for no reason, but it only makes the good moments feel greater.

female hormones for real, not saying that is what is happening for you but you might notice those feelings are on that cycle. it's real stuff I'm sure you are thinking about but truly but also the hormones make things feel intense. personally I think when you're feel sad or struggling, don't label it as bad or 'over emotional' etc, it's your soft heart asking for some softness and gentleness. it's good not to push yourself the week before your period, don't be hard on yourself for feeling less energy or needing more snuggles during that time or being sad, pushing makes it worse and makes feelings build up, they need softness during that time and that makes the hormones more happy and balanced. get those human and dog cuddles!

Hi Ava, I never comment on any videos, but I rly feel like you should hear this. I am also 23 and struggled my teen years with extreme social anxiety & as I turned 20, I started feeling anxiety abt the future and more. I’ve overcame my anxiety for the most part in the last 2 years & I rly wish the same for you. One of the things I think would help is not being so self detrimental (even as a joke). Your words matter. Throughout your videos you say goals you have, but then you say things like, “but…I’m not built like that…” or “it’s not that good so don’t get excited…” Even if you’re not doing rocket science, you should be very positive and confident in the things you do. Something as simple as changing your perspective and the way you say things helps. Instead of: “but I’m not built like that,” you can say “it doesn’t come as easily to me, but I’m capable of hard things & with hard work, I know I could do it too.” Don’t sell yourself short or think you’re not capable of doing great things bc you are. Also cutting carbs & following Jesus & quitting social media will help a ton but I know the first 2 are controversial & the last is literally your job lol! But wish you the best! Be positive!!

I love love love your vlogs, so longer version is always a better version! In Turkish culture we also have pasta salad, but we make it with yoghurt (greek yoghurt is ok) and ad some cucumbers and some garlic and corn, it tastes very good especially during hot summer days.
