For those who don't understand the reason behind the whole ceremony. I'm here to help. So the ceremony in Sesotho is called "Ho isa mahlo " direct translation to take your eyes 🤣 I know. But this simply means after your wedding you can't go back home until your 3rd month anniversary as a wife, so the slaughtering part is to re-introduce you as a wife ( some families add your new name that was given to you by your in laws in the process of speaking to the ancestors) and the shaving of your hair simply means that you're removing your old hair as a girl and you're now a woman, hence you even have to give away your old clothes because you're no longer a girl but a woman. I went to builders to buy exterior paint at builders, the guy who works for Plascon recommended roof paint instead. His reasoning was that if it can withstand all the weather conditions it will be okay for exterior walls. Also roof paint was cheaper than exterior paint. Do what you will with thy information.
