I’m a bartender. Next time, fill your shaker with ice (smaller cubes) add your cheap liquid first. 1 oz lemon juice (prefer fresh squeezed) 1 oz of simple or agave, 1/2 oz of triple sec (orange liqueur) no it doesn’t taste like orange juice but it has notes of it in the base. 2 oz vodka. Put the top on your shaker and shake really well. Sugar your rim and strain the liquid in the chilled glasses. Drinks in martini glasses shouldn’t have ice in them. There is a reason the recipe calls for "citrus infused" vodka.... without it you're drinking pure alcohol.... the other ingredients can't compete with the straight naked VODKA. I laughed so hard.
