Glad you changed your major to something you feel more passionate about! I did not do that in college and have every regret under the sun about it now as an adult lol. I suffered until the end. Love that you're prioritizing your creativity as well! Oh and PLEASE! I'm begging you to read House on the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune. It's one of my favorite books and it's fantasy. It's just cozy fantasy.

also! i've been reading a bit more this year (not as much as i could, but its a start) and i've been LOVINGGGG the "A Good Girls Guide to Murder" series by Holly Jackson. i'm not sure if you enjoy mystery/crime books, but its so good if you are or if anyone else who sees this is! i couldn't put the first book down when i started it and got deeper into the story

OMG Love the video. I see a female Tiger Woods in the making. That professor you discussed, I would have reported him to the dean because what is the point of being a professor besides collecting a check? Those professors do not care about the students' impact on learning. Journaling is something I still do and you go digital like a Notes App, Microsoft (just make sure you keep it locked). One more thing I recommended you to play Stardew Valley on PC. Wonderful farming game.

Ahh thank you so much!! I always loved watching Tiger Woods when I was growing up so this made me so happy haha! And I really do hate to say it, but I’ve seen so many professors at my college in the STEM department that are like this! My friend is in architecture, and the professors are no better :( One professor I had when I was back in anthropology was telling us about some of the conversations he’s overheard from other professors, and how they talk about how “stupid” their students are or how they “can’t learn anything”, it’s ABSURD! I’ll definitely see about digital journaling, especially if I’m on the road or want to jot something down. And I’ll take this as my sign to get Stardew Valley soon! I’ve always wanted to play it :)🩷🩷🩷

OK. That professor needs to retire from teaching. I'm a massive shy introvert and I did well with my online studies. But I was learning from my college. No one is paying all that money to only have him say, "Watch KZbin!" Ummmmmm....no. Absolutely not!!!! He really shouldn't be teaching and I'm so sorry you had that experience.

I honestly wish these professors would retire because they clearly do not like teaching! I also love doing a lot of my classes online for the same reason, and when I did them for my humanities/anthropology studies, I still learned fully and had support from the professors! What’s even crazier is that my current community college(Valencia) is owned/shared by the university I’m transferring to(UCF), so I truly don’t think the professors at UCF will be any better considering both institutions have to be managed by some of the same people :(
