The Lantern Festival thing reminds me of Tangled the Movie

Porto seems soo aesthetic! Like, even the graveyards are a vibe 👀! I can't wait to see more art and general content from you, Neimy! Also, Mele tottering around on the balcony is literally the most adorable thing I've ever seen, like OH MY GOSH. The last part with the lantern made me so sentimental because it reminded me of what I did after my grandma's funeral 🥺😢😞 Love you so much

It's holiday only for the cities that have the protection from St. John , Porto and Braga are two of them. In Porto city they make a big party at night in the streets with lots of food (not this year because the pandemic), firework, floating lanterns. PS: Next year go see close to the river, is beautiful the fireworks in the river.

@@Neimykanani No problem. Portugal have all over the country the summer festivals/parties. Each city have their own, Porto, Braga and Vila Nova de Gaia is June 24th (day of Saint John, the saint to help you to have good crops or the saint that most christian women pray to be pregnant, is the fertility saint). Lisbon, Famalicão, Vila Real is June 13th (Day of Saint Anthony of Lisbon this Saint help the girls/women to find a husband or to find something they lost, even runway people, things or animals). The city where I was born and raised (Lamego) is September 8th (i love that day, the day of our lady of healing (lots of Christians with some disease go to Lamego to pray in the top of the hill cathedral).

About fertility saint (like Saint Anthony of Lisbon), i remember a few years ago see a japonese movie with a small city having a similar festival about the women want to be pregnant (the title was in English i do think was "wood job").
