First of all Happy Happy Birthday! Andy is so right, you cannot change age, trust me when I say it will be fine. I felt fine when I turned 30, I felt young, beautiful and life ahead of me. Now, I am not embarrassed to say I am in my late 50's...and YESSSS I watch your channel. You are just a joy to watch I am in the US and I love watching UK vloggers (mostly you and just a few others) because I enjoy fashion, beauty and just seeing different content ( horses). Soooo, I feel like everyone's 2nd or 3 mother here. Trust me Alexx, enjoy your life and do not think about as tuning 30, don't attach a number to it, just live each and everyday and enjoy. I started watching when you started youtube I think, and I truly enjoy your content and love seeing Andy as well. ( i am just waiting for Andy to put a ring on it) ♥ If your heart tells you that you are 25 just go with it. Time flies so soak it in, and don't dwell on the number.

Happy birthday! I'm 33 and I was thinking to myself the other day how much I actually enjoy being in my 30s. I don't worry so much anymore, I'm much more confident in my own skin and other people's opinions and expectations are less and less important to me. I just focus on the things I want to do and achieve and it feels great. I really love this period of my life. So don't be afraid to turn 30. Age is just a number. ❤

Honestly, being 30 is the best. Not sure why no one talks about it 😂 you look good, you don’t take any shit, you appreciate better things in life and overall, life just gets better! Lovely blog hun, I had horses for years when I was 7-16 years old when I had to start work and couldn’t do both ! Absolutely miss it everyday and I am so jealous of you 😊 love seeing everything you both do and hope you get all ghd way in the competitions , also I was gutted when I turned 30, but now at 43 and mother of 4 yr old boy u don’t really bother ! Yes Alex I was the same when I turned 30 I think it's different for women than what it is for men. I'm 46 now and I can tell you it goes so quick a blink of an eye, just make lots of memories and don't regret anything even the mistakes it's all life lessons. I think when women get older we become more comfortable with making life decisions and unapologetic. Really enjoy your vlogs thanks for sharing with us

Happy Birthday Alexx! ❤❤❤ Turning 30 was traumatizing for me too. I’m now in my early 40s. Turning 40 wasn’t as hard. Like Andy says you cant worry over something you can’t control so you kinda just learn to accept it. But I, too, mourned the loss of my 20s and my youth lol. So I feel you. You’re not alone. I definitely think it’s a female thing too. But I still feel 25 in my heart. Even my dad once told me (when he was in his 60s, that he felt like he was in his 20s). I think our appearances change as we age, but in our minds and hearts we still think we are youthful. But I’m not gonna lie, aging is hard as a woman. Especially when you’ve been attractive your whole life and all of a sudden things start falling apart here and there, it’s quite shocking. As long as we eat healthy and have an active lifestyle, and stay positive, there’s still a lot of life to live. Some people have a whole new chapter in the second half of their lives. So don’t worry, you won’t feel as bad. At least, like you said, you are fortunate you have a house, a great partner, and a great career and are content with where you’re at. I wasn’t when I was your age. So I think you’re on the right track and you’ll be just fine with so many more wonderful things to look forward to in life. Again happy birthday!! 🎊🎂🎉

Ahhh the chickens! They look like rescues? I’ve got 9 of them and they’re actually very intelligent. They can recognise up to 100 faces, can count and show affection. The ex battery rescue hens are always the most tame and affectionate too - I love them!! ❤

Happy birthday! 🎉💕🥂 Wow it looks like you had the most amazing week 😍. I have not heard of that hotel and I live in Cheltenham in the Cotswolds. I totally get your fear of turning 30, although I can't remember how I was feeling for mine. One thing I'd add when you were saying your list of what you feel fortunate and lucky for - you missed off your health. So many people take their health for granted - I used to. I spent the whole 10 years of my twenties working in luxury travel booking hols for the rich and famous. I would fly out to the Maldives, Asia, India, Australia and check out the hotels first before sending my clients and their staff. It was my dream job. I took a break at aged 32 and went travelling. I got bitten by an infected tick and fell extremely unwell but went for years undiagnosed. I turned 39 this week and I have been bedridden/housebound for the last 7 years and am now in a wheelchair as I have Chronic Lyme Disease. My life changed overnight. I have learnt new skills that I can do from bed but losing my health, my savings, my career, many friends etc has made me realise I didn't appreciate my health when I had it. I am hoping I can go and stay in a place like Thyme hotel for my 40th next year! 🙏🤞 Here is to wishing you a happy and healthy 30th decade and I hope it is fun filled and not as scary as you fear! 💕✨

Yeah I felt the same when I turned 30. Didn’t want to be old, felt like running away and getting loads of tattoos and a motorbike. I didn’t tho and it was all absolutely fine 😊 40 was a breeze but I’m 50 next year so may have to have a facelift and get a toy boy 😂😂 x

Happy bday again Alex I turned 30 last year went to Mykonos for it as much as I felt happy I also felt like it was huge milestone and very overwhelming I think mainly because didn’t feel like I was were I thought I’d be but to be honest it’s just a number . I still feel and look like I’m 21 at heart. Haha so really doesn’t change much you have done so well for yourself and the most important thing is being happy and at peace. We are still young but understand what you mean I think as women we sometimes beat ourselves down due to the social pressures. I didn’t care about turning 30 but I’m turning 40 this year & I think it’s kinda hitting me now. I have a teenage son & I know soon he’ll leave the nest & that’s what is truly upsetting to me. I sometimes wish I had another child, but that’s not happening now. My body couldn’t handle a pregnancy so I’m lucky that I had my son.
