Hi Anya, pink lavender and espresso I need to pick up from Teddy Bees you totally sold me on it. You did quite a bit of lavender and caramel this past week. Carmel scents are perfect for fall, it’s really the only time of year I melt it. It’s so cool that you make your own wax, you can just whip up a batch of any scent you want. ❤

Hey girl! Love your wax reviews! Could you elaborate on how you melt down the candles to make melts? I have like 5 of the pink lavender and espresso candles from SAS that have the worst wicks. It would be awesome to make them into shapes to melt at a later date:

@@CandleNurse I used the double boiler method. I have a pot that I use only for crafting, that I fill half way with water, and then put 2 Mason jar rings at the bottom to rest the vessel on (no direct contact with the bottom of the pot). Bring to a simmer (like on low) and then carefully put the candle in the pot on the rings. I only melt it about halfway, so I'm able to cut into it, chunk it up and then put the wax in my stainless steel pouring pot. Then melt the whole shebang over low heat (takes a while to melt down but keeps the integrity of the fragrance oils in the wax), stir for a minute and then poured them into my souffle tins. Shapes would probably be better as the wax they use is tart wax. I would recommend seeing other videos. I just did this on a whim, haha, without instruction. You may be able to skip the "melt halfway and chunk the wax" part and continue melting in the vessel, but I didn't want to risk the chance of the glass breaking so I didn't. Eh, proceed with caution. 😊🙏

BBW just had a $13.95 candle sale and PL&E was $10.46 with a 25% coupon. I freakin, love that candle too. And Tiffany’s blend is even better IMO. I feel like you get a little bit more of the espresso in hers. It’s amazing. Great empties Anya!
