You can freeze your ginger in a freezer bag, and just take it out and grate it frozen, and then put it back in freezer. It lasts a long time that way.

Being south Asian we use a lot of ginger and garlic, one portion I will make a ginger and garlic paste and freeze in ice cube trays, then when it is frozen I put them in ziplock bags and the rest I freeze whole garlic and ginger separately too. Garlic and ginger paste is for my curry’s.

@ Lidl or Aldi, but I always check the Tesco app for special offers on items I would be buying anyway.

I just put marshmallows in not the cream. I don't drink hot chocolate very much now and again. I love my cups of tea aswell. I have tea a lot this weather. I might try the cream?

I always freeze my ginger and grate it straight from frozen. You don't even need to peel it. I rotos definitely send the bacon and beetroot shot back. Enjoy the grand babies at the weekend x x

Hi Leanne , is it smoked bacon you got , if so I have had bacon before that looks darker in places than other parts it's just from the smoking process , also the beetroot shots will be perfectly fine I think the seal clup on the bottle had just partly come away , could have happend whilst it was in transit , and another thing to mention I have the exact same collapsible basket and mine started to split when I used it for my shopping I have since purchased a large " laundry " bag with zip , the ones ppl use for launderette , they are so strong and durable I fill mine and just drag it through to the kitchen it's sooo much quicker and easier than using individual bags 😊

Me too Leanne do not like the putting away process it's where to put what sometimes 😂 hubby does the fruit washing it etc but I generally put the rest away have a wonderful weekend theres supposed to be a storm coming let's hope not too bad hate the high winds 😮God bless Leanne ❤❤❤

Hi Leanne, I always use my laundry basket to pop my shopping in when I get a food delivery & bags too ! I seem to be spending on average £130 per week that's for 3 adults, including toiletries, cleaning stuff etc & still end up having to do a top up shop 😕Looking forward to seeing your new recipes next week 😋Clare xx

Hi leanne there's afew items there I'd certainly be getting in touch with Tesco for.....they'll refund you no problem..the bacon was very bad and I'm sure nobody would be happy with that leanne....but anyway a great vlog as usual ...you got some lovely shopping too....hope you have a great weekend ...the weather's not going to be very good so I've been food shopping today...I love having afew days in...🎉🎉❤❤

Great haul. I’ve just switched from Sainsbury’s to Tesco….. shopped in Sainsbury’s for years but it was just too grubby and thankfully Tesco is sparkly and clean but however it certainly isn’t cheaper! My shopping today was almost £160 which I think is ridiculous for 3 of us. I have a monthly shopping budget too and honestly can’t remember now how many times I’ve had to keep raising it to keep up with price increases.

Hi Leanne, I get a Tesco delivery most weeks but never get meat as it’s not always to my liking. Just ask your driver to bring the trays into the kitchen for you then quickly decant, mine usually help ☺️❤️ xx

If you make your own porridge to put in a flask always make it liquidy lol,cos when it’s time to eat it will be the correct consistency n just add fruits..lot cheaper n no additives.love your vlogs x

I'm the same when I order online, things arrive in the wrong amount and I even had pork mince that was all gassed up packaging which just makes me paranoid its gone funny maybe, its so convenient to get it delivered though just wish they'd shop like they would if it was for them xx i tend to do 2 food shops to budget, so one is most stuff we need, dinners and lunchbox foods and the 2nd shop is snacks & top up shop for weekend plus cleaning bits xx Great video as always ❤ take care

Don't worry about all that Ginger just either peel it or not peel it but put it in the freezer and then great it frozen it works great and I would have got the cinnamon sprinkle cuz anybody had like Mexican hot chocolate
