Apparently Max Martin originally planned for the Back Street Boys to have this song, but they didn’t want it. Then the record company sent this 16-yo girl to Stockholm to have the Cheiron gang help compile her first album. She seemed a bit shy (not strange, a 16 yo kid sent abroad to record an album with people she did not know) and they weren’t really sure how this would work out. Anyway, Max figured, OK, we’ll let her try this song. And when she started singing they knew this was going to be big. The rest is history.
