Mint Condition is a jewel in the crown of R&B. But they could do any genre. They were a real band, where the drummer became the lead singer. Mint Condition is one of the most underrated bands. The instrumentation is TIGHT. This song is a great demonstration of their versatility. Stokley is one of the greatest vocalists in R & B music. And they were only nominated for one Grammy...which is criminal! They were discovered by Jam & Lewis (Janet Jackson's producers). You need to check out Forever In Your Eyes, Not My Daddy w/Kelly Price, Mindslicker, Caught My Eye...so many.

The lead singer is stokley williams. He also have a great solo music. FYI Keri Lewis a keyboardist & percussionist of the band once married to Toni Braxton they had 2 sons. These are my boys they are the truth one of the few last r&b band of musicians the 90s was like last era of bands. Theyre from the same city of Prince Minneapolis. People always played the video version my preference the audio. You get the full version to hear the ending but yes this classic banger this my era❤🥰🥰🥰🥰
