spoonman462 Exactly. I am 33 years old and just got into Ween. I grew up right when they were blowing up on MTV. I had alot of friends that liked them. I have always been super into music. And I just thought they were jokey and campy. And then a few months ago I stumbled upon The Mollusk. And it was amazing. That and White Pepper and Chocolate n Cheese. Quebec. Their serious, or at least more serious songs are so amazing and dark and heartfelt and quite brilliant

From an interview a few yrs ago- "I interrupted Aaron to tell him about how one of my friends, refuses to stay in the room whenever someone plays “Spinal Meningitis (Got Me Down)”. “That’s good, and that’s what I want, because it’s fucked up for us, too. That’s why we do it. That song didn’t come out of any kind of making fun of. That song came out of fear of death, fear of needles in the spine, and that’s not cool at all. That’s really bad news."
