I'm 39 years old and I feel like a little kid again playing Final Fantasy 7. Baldur's Gate 3 is the first video game I've sunk my teeth into like this in a very long time. And it warms my heart to see it absolutely BLOWING UP the way it deserves. And on top of that Larian reaching out to D&D alums like Ginny and Matt Mercer? Crazy time to be alive.

Listening to this song almost 3 years ago, reignited in me that sense of adventure. That feeling making you dive deep into the game and for me it was long gone. BG3 from the beginning was striking player with urgency, danger and that need to push forward. First cutscene with this song and camera panning out was something magical and welcomed change of pace. For once, we as a character could sit and forget for a moment about our dire situation. Your performance once again reminded me that and for that 3 minutes I really let myself go and just enjoyed this video. I'm easily distracted and always do few things at a time so moments like this are really appriciated!

The first time I heard Alfira sing this, I was amazed...and then I heard that if your character actually helps with the song, she give your OC instrument proficiency. On one hand, if you're not a bard, being able to play an instrument is very cool, and my Ranger has played many songs on her journey to the Gate. But on the other hand, just listening to the song is awesome, as my Ranger found out after battling some enemies nearby. It was a nice thing to hear after nearly dying.
