16:16 So this is actually something covered in the Dragon Prince novels. Soren caught a deadly illness as a child, and Viren used dark magic to save him. But whatever he did was so horrific it left him deeply traumatized and caused his wife to fear and resent him. This is probably why he resents Soren so much later in life.

There’s a fan theory regarding King Harrow that has been floating around for a while; it’s that Vieren placed his soul in the green bird; when Runan shoots the arrow announcing his death, the camera focuses on the bird (and scince there is no camera, it was a deliberate choice) and now Harrow saying “your soul is my treasure” in Vieren’s fever dream with the bird present doesn’t seem like a coincidence.. he also chants it backwards..

Or maybe more like a three-to-seven month gap before season 6, since 5 has been out for two months or so.

OMG this season is so good so far (I started it just today and I believe I got as far as Episode 7), and I just remember getting so mad at them for taking so long in the library. >.< I swear, if Rayla had just told Callum immediately about her coin parents and friend the moment she got them from Claudia... DX He would have had plenty of time to search for the info on the Startouch elves AND he would have IMMEDIATELY given Rayla the info he found regarding the coin soul traps or whatever the moment he discovered them. DX Also, they took FOREVER walking through that city to the library in the first place. If it was safer during the daytime, and they only had five hours, WHY WALK!? Why not RUN to the library? Then maybe they would have had a tad more time! Ack, that 4th episode was stressful... >.< Also Karim is a little troublemaker, and I am sooo glad Sol Regem did not join him. >.> Though I will admit, the moment Karim proposed that Sol Regem become the "true" king of the dragons, it made me wonder if he were going to challenge Zym's mother, and that made me thing that something would happen to the Dragon Queen. So, when she got bit, well... I was not happy, but I was also not too surprised. After the initial "oh sh*t" reaction, of course. XD

I will say, the latter half of the season will cement your theory of the religious themes. You are dead on about the references and imagery. A LOT of the writers on the show are Jewish, and those themes show.
