Full crown reduction on a Weeping Willow tree in this video. It's a centrepiece of the property and after a large branch snapped out in the recent past I advised on future pruning works. It was decided to try and keep the current natural shape while taking some general weight off the limbs. I used the hedge cutters on the lowest parts to give an even finish and plenty headroom to walk underneath. A nice climb on a hot peaceful day. All the removed branches stayed on site as the homeowner turned them into mulch for the compost pile - saving on cost of removal.
I decided to split the tree into two as there where two main leaders and great anchor points. I first worked the right side of the tree before getting down and working on the left side as a totally different tree.
