Weevil's new unreleased cards look pretty good, a new Insect Queen that better than the original but still not as good as the anime, an equip version of Parasite Paracide, and a spell version of Cocoon of Evolution that lets you summon Perfectly Ultimate great Moth in 1 turn and realize it wasn't worth summoning even then.

Still can't summon PUGM due to it specifying the 6 turn wait, but it can special summon both the old and new Insect Queen.

Your builds have been helping me make some character decks too!! My friends and I love to play character decks!! One thing we did to balance out the decks and give every deck somewhat of a chance is including certain staples across the board. Monster Reborn. Dark Hole. Heavy Storm. Pot of Greed. Graceful Charity. Card of Sanctity. Mirror Force. We do make some exceptions like Mai doesn’t get a Heavy Storm due to having feather duster etc…

Don't think Weevil used DNA surgery against Joey in Battle City he used the effect of Parasite Paracide to turn all Wheeler's monsters in to insects until Joey summoned Gearfried the Iron Knight. Also in the same episode Joey calls Gearfried Gearfield

Aside from convenience, the habit of including DNA surgery to weevil comes from videogames, where it's common to see him using it

In Duelist of the Roses he also has the Javelin Beetle Ritual. He also has Kawagar Hercules and Kwagar Alpha. I think one time he even used Rose Spectre of Dunn against me. (weird he had a plant) he also uses Man-Eater Bug which can really screw you over.

Yeah what they used in the show is more consistent. Insect Queen is a fun card too. Especially with DNA Surgery in play. I also run DNA Surgery in my Machine King Deck for the same reason.

Excellent video! Was never really a fan of Haga's cheating ways, but his insects are really cool. Did you know that despite the dub claiming he's a HUGE cheater, he's only ever cheated twice in the anime (Japanese) and only once in the manga? Duelist Kingdom doesn't count as Pegasus told him about the field power bonuses ;)

Okay, I'll agree with you there, that wasn't a good move on Haga's part. Still, if Yugi had Exodia during Duelist Kingdom it wouldn't be all that exciting to watch, since all he would have to do is get all five pieces in his hand and he'd automatically win.

I mostly have an Insect Deck since Insect-type monsters have some useful effects. Plus I'm a huge insect fanatic

I imagine he had Man-Eater but I doubt we saw it. I don't think Chainsaw or Neo was made yet. Insect imitation...Ya just bad deck writing.

well for basic insect... if u can decrease its level by 1 and then triangle power, and then like law of the normal. that is pretty much game if u have a couple of level 1 monsters
