It took me a year to get to Wegovy 2.4. Once I hit 2.4 the weight started to fall off fast.

It’s taken some time but I have lost a significant amount of weight on the 2.4 mg dosage… I agree with you… it seems to come off faster…

Match is day and night with Wegovy ….. it’s suppresses my appetite and it gives me a lot of energy also takes away. Any sluggish or depressing feeling just happy happy all day after my Matcha drink…

@reneeterrell2539 Yes, I think you should definitely give it a try. My energy was very low as I stepped up in the dosing. If you’re starting at the lowest dose then your energy may not be impacted but if it is… matcha is great to have in your arsenal. Congrats on starting Wegovy!

Hi👋🏽 …have you discussed possible alternatives with your doctor? I was unable to find the .5 and 1 mg doses of Wegovy and my doctor substituted it with ozempic. I would check to see if there’s anything else you can start with and if there’s any similar options especially if it’s covered by your insurance.

How long did you take the 1.7 I’m in my eight week on it I just looked up matcha it has caffeine so I can’t use it but I’ll try to find an alternative

Did you start at the lowest dose? I'll be taking the 1.0 mg dose this week and feel like there isn't a lot of difference in terms of appetite, and only 9 pounds down in these 8 weeks.

Hi, thank you for your question. Yes I did start at the lowest dose and there was hardly no appetite suppression at .25 mg and the weight did come off slow. However once you reach 1.7 and 2.4 mgs you may be able to feel the difference in appetite suppression. Also, I’m not sure where you inject your medication but when I switched to my arm I experienced more appetite control as well.

My first month on wegovy… I only lost 3 pounds. I was devastated paying all of this money for 3 pounds but hang in there sister, because nine months later I’m down 54 pounds the medication Hass to really get in your system it’s going to start working. And like she said, there is so many non-scale victories every time I see someone people say oh my Omg you’ve lost so much weight… Even when I’m up a pound or two they just stare at a maze my body just looks so different. Hang in there.
