@@onur97able The biggest problem with the USF 50 cal was that it could not reliably suppress infantry in COH2. I think in the last stream about the US forces they mentioned its good now.

Speaking of unit's commentaries. I'd really love to have the option to enable every faction's original language audio. So I can listen to the Wehrmacht's audio that player would listen to playing in german, while having the game set to english and vise versa

Love it when games have that in games. like in bf1 the faction you play in is voiced by the country they're from ( ie speaking german when playing german, english with english or american accent dependent on faction) or in war thunder there's an option that your tank crew speaks in the language of their country (I think world of tanks and warships has this too)

True, i wish we would get native voice lines for each faction, like a setting where you would turn on that german speak german, british speak english, soviets speak russian etc. One of the greatest things they could do for the game.

I hope they can get around to add this in the future. Until then the title will unfortunately be a no-buy for me. I'm German, and the Schwarzenegger-like DEnglish dubbing in these games was always painful to witness, but luckily 1 and 2 had outstanding German language support. Compared to the old different language support packages and the much requested faction-specific languages, this move feels like the worst way to go, and extremely cheap.

Something that I'm so impressed by is the vehicle physics. The rocking of the Tiger as it accelerated across the field was delightful. My absolute favorite part of this stream was the destroyed P4 rolling down the hill near the WM base in that first match. So incredible. Cheers, Relic!

i sure hope there will be some extreme graphic options on PC for things like longer debris and longer bodies and blood/gore. seeing the aftermath stay on the map longer is super cool. if not natively supported in the UI then maybe I can tweak some file values instead

When tanks shoot each other, I don't see any impact when it penetrates which should be fixed. It's a visual cue that affects the gameplay. In coh2 you can feel the impact of penetrated shots on tanks.

@@benedictjajo What ohmp? There's a quick low effort flash with some sparks and nothing else, in CoH1 there are actually smoke particles along with sparks and in CoH3 it's just an explosion with sparks, which is still way better than the garbage response in CoH2.

I already see a lot of great improvements. The smoke trails on bullets has been toned down (which was really bugging me). I thought seeing the enemy build in base was interesting. Stuff seems to be coming together. Looking forward to it.

@Relic Adding options for enabling/disabling stuff on the HUD will go a long way. You don't need to do it right away but down the road it will be quite welcome. For instance being able to disable that icon that shows armor profiles on the unit card, team colors on armored units etc.

Something I appreciate about the making of this game is the game designers are actually playing the game so they can not only see but feel things out. I really appreciate that from the dev's as I honestly don't think many do play test their games. Also I am glad the grenadiers are now a 6 man team from a 4 man. This will give them more power in fights and I think they play similar to the wermecht in CoH2. I also find myself playing very defensive in the first half of the game until I either get armor or stormtroopers out (even with strom troopers I'm still a bit defensive, just have them ambush enemies trying to cap in my territory sometimes). I can't wait for the release of CoH 3.

And the allied fiction is always designed as having to _react_ to german heavy armor with powerful AT, instead of ever leading the game, because Relic believes in the myths about the Sherman being a deathtrap which couldn't pen anything so they make it a shit tank

What I really want in COH3 is a standardization of player colours. I hated that players, allied and enemy, had different colours for me and my party members. If Players 1 is blue for everyone, or even just for my team, it will be much easier to identify what is occurring from a quick glance or mini-map

I would like a general gameplay video going over differences between CoH 1 and 2 to the new mechanics in 3. How do snares work, like CoH 1 or 2, or something new? How does vehicle armor work? Is there red cover still? (If so the unit crosshair that appears when they're in combat looks like it could be mistaken for a red shield pretty easily). For monetization will things be able to be obtained with in game currency like how CoH 2 ended up or are we buying a full priced game to have strategic options locked behind dlc like CoH 2 was at it's infancy? Acknowledging some faults with CoH 1/2 and how those have been improved for CoH 3, like unit pathing or clumping up (to be one shot by aoe). A short video that covers the major changes for people familiar with the series, and another video for people completely new to it would be welcome.

There is no pay to win in CoH3, apart from buying factions but thats not really pay to win. They released a community post yesterday, where they said you can buy skins in the in-game shop by a currency which you can earn by playing or doing challenges.

I was ranked fairly highly for a long time in CoH1 (Hung around world top 30 or so for both Americans and Germans) so I figure I shiuld know what I'm taking about......... but have there been any graphical/engine upgrades since CoH1? It looks pretty much exactly the same to me. Not meant really as a snub to this game, if anything more a reconfirmation of how far ahead of the curve the first game was back in 2005.

Curious about the balancing of the Brumbar in CoH3. Taking many grains of salt with community commentary, there are usually lots of concerns over the current (CoH2) Brumbar's armor being too tough for how powerful it is. I've seen endless rants about this. Though I did argue about counters, a lot of people still had some good points about it being a little too overpowered at the moment. Edit: Playing with that M24 Chaffee is gonna be badass. Gives me T70 vibes but maybe slightly stronger?

Armor should be similar to the T70, but the gun is the same 75 as the M4 Sherman, so it should be an absolute beast if it can switch between HE for tackling infantry and AP for some damage against medium and light vehicles. It'll be useless against heavy armor and struggle with some mediums, but it's a great choice for moving a solid and versatile medium gun to the front

In many ways it looks like a combination of the COH 1 Wehrmacht and COH 2 Soviets, in a number of ways.(mostly when it comes to the Grenadiers) I think they took the best bits of each one and merge them together very well.

I like that they have taken the user reviews and it shows that they care to improve the game for the players. One of the main things that was an issue was the game looked to "cartoonish" with how vibrant the colors were. Which is now more washed out and look more akin to COH 2 graphics

One difference between this CoH and the earlier ones seems to be that the infantry can take quite a lot of damage even when retreating (or have I got the term wrong?). I like that and think its more realistic.

38:06 I like the idea of the Officer Quarters. Vet 1 right away and 25% exp earn rate. It gives a nice coh1 touch to the game without "overdoing" it. I would want to ask if it is possible to reassemble the US forces in a similiar way because i do like the supply yard idea from coh1 a lot. But instead of one supply yard each building would have a "Improved Logistics" upgrade that reduces the upkeep of the units from that building by like 20% or so and units gain 25% more exp. I know there are i think doctrinal unlocks that reduce the upkeep of certain unit types, but still. I would like to bring back the idea of supply yard mechanics for US forces just as we have some vet mechanics similiar to the Kampfkraftcenter.

Just watched the Whermacht Deep dive.Tanks look like small toys compared to Coh2. This looks like a re-skin of coh1. Wish they would have kept the direction of coh 2,the feel of big heavy tanks. You could really see and feel the weight when they drive. In this gameplay it looks like tanks are just floating around with paper weight. Also when the tanks explode it doesn’t look very good. The graphics looks very cartoonish to me. And where is the Panther??

Especially since a lot of the models were already recycled from coh2, the Tiger uses the same model, including the same mistakes.

@@jermasus Dude - let them recycle as much as they can. Creating new models is such a costly business that developers can be thankful for everything that does not need to be created another time. And me and you as a consumer can be happy, because that money can be used for different developments. I have worked in the gaming industry. Trust me - recycling is not only good practice, its necessary today.

I think I need to fix a lot of things here and there. It has a history of making many similar games. Even after producing the previous two previous works and the WARHAMMER40K series, it does not look much better. It seems to be obsessed with unnecessary parts. Game looks fantastic. Could you please show more of the tech building that has the Panzergrenadiers in it? You didn't showcase or talk about 25% of the entire faction in this video.

Rofl, first view of coh3 nearer release and I see usf blobbing into mgs and flak, wehr getting punched in the face stalling for a tiger, tiger diving and getting almost immediately punished for it, the game reversing back from a lucky bounce. It's like coh1-2 tier 8-12 matching memes rolled into a trailer

They refuse to answer questions or acknowledge the tacmap not being in the game yet for some suspicious reason.

theyre watching a replay in the game not the game footage, there would be no way of knowing if the player used tac map. Although im sure tac map will be in the game no worries.

Is there a confirmed reason why the Panther is missing? Is it because of the game setting or just lazy from relic? Because in CoH2 both the Wehrmacht and the OKW had access to the Panzer V Panther. The setting is probably no excuse, because the Panzer IV Brummbär and Panzer VI Tiger, who where produced in smaller numbers as the Panzer V Panther are part of the game. It is kinda disappointing.

I’m coming from the perspective of someone who plays mostly 1v1s and the Panther being a doctrinal unit(I’m guessing its doctrinal) is perfectly fine in my book. The P4 being spammed in numbers is usually favored over Panthers.

@@Dunkerque351 It would be a little bit disappointing if the Panzer V would be demoted to a doctrinical unit, but if it is in the game, I am happy nontheless. I like the Panzer V and always favor him over the Panzer IV. And I am also a fan of big unit roosters, even if you have plenty of unnecessary units, you have them and you could play them. What I have seen so far of this game, I am not that excited about the amount of playable troops.

@@centuriosupernumerarius1625 thank the allied fanboys in coh2. The same people that ruined coh2 will unfortunately ruin coh3. These people think that german tanks should be on the same level as their allied counter parts despite costing double the resources and being very specialized in certain categories.

German Late game look kind of weak comparing to CoH2. Without Commander Heavy Armor I doubt they can actually hold the line with Panzer IV.
