this is how german soldiers hear when they eat meth choccolate
@amaral2844 Жыл бұрын
this is a complete myth, only in the first year of the war did methamphetamine be used, and it was less than 10% of soldiers who used it.

Ah, another Panzerschokolade enjoy I see?
@joetazuna9303 Жыл бұрын
@Gurkk Roleplay Actually, Panzerschokolade is fake. The story is based on a photoshop of a wrapper with a fake factory mentioned and a company that didn't exist during ww2. The Nazi's did do meth but it was an over the counter pill that they restricted and regulated to minimize the side effects on the men. We know this because observations of the men taking it were recorded to an extent. They also ate chocolate (which is still being made!) called Scho-ka-kola but that was only given to jet pilots to keep them awake because that was the most practical way to give them caffiene. Giving them the meth pills would in practice give them too much and they'd be tempted to take them all at once so it makes sense why these practices, done for the same purpose (curing the need for sleep) would be done seperately. The Nazi meth chocolate is just a misconception of those two facts people parrot because it sounds funny and cool.

Maybe in the start of ww2, but not after 1941. If believe to british magazine's, wehrmacht 700k soldiers in the first month of great fatherland war war. USSR lost 5.5m soldiers in that war, wehrmacht 5.6m.

You should not believe british magazines about germans during WW2, its obviously just propaganda@@yellowraptor1488 The german army conquered almost all of europe by themselves, If H*tler would've stuck to the original plan of invading the soviets after the coming winter instead of thinking he could beat them before and thus ending up fighting the soviets in the winter anyways it woul've ended very differently.

As I can see, nobody has posted the lyrics yet, so I just do it: Lyrics Pulled into war to serve a vision that’s supposed to last a thousand years Part of a machine unstoppable, as merciless as tidal waves Were they the victims of the time, or proud parts of larger goals? Propaganda of the Reich, masterful machine Time and again the battle rages on beyond the gates of misery As casualties rise and millions die around them did they see it all? Crazy madmen on a leash, or young men who lost their way? Grand illusions of the Reich may seem real at times Panzers on a line form the Wehrmacht’s spine Lethal grand design What about the men executing orders? Ad victoriam Ex machina Non sibi sed patriae Pulled into war to serve a vision that just didn’t last a thousand years Part of a machine, though stoppable, as merciless as tidal waves
