It does match the size of the Jinbao Optimus Prime pretty well, especially those construction verhicles are very large irl. Gotta love that all of devastator's parts are integrated in the constructicons.

Got my 2 year old these for Christmas. He loves the Constructions and there was no way I'd want to pay the price for the legit figures. These feel very sturdy and lasting unlike the Combaticons Brave be cool series.

The transformations to devastator and in general were pretty smart especially hook to devastators body And it’s all pretty good I recommend it to anyone really

Everything is nice and tight with this version. The only loose parts are the fists, which you can transport with the large truck like a large pile of purple stuff. The crane that becomes the devastator chestplate is geniously designed.

I would’ve liked to have seen this buddy next to Iron Factory’s War Giant or the original DX9. Still, it looks pretty cool, but I think MasterMade’s Devy may be my first 3rd Party Devastator.

Are those the correct transformations individually? I got one loose complete without instructions. Listed my Yuexing version on eBay just today for sale boxed complete as I now much prefer this version. This set also came with an extra purple gun for the individually transformed Constructicons. It's the same scale as the other pistols in the set. Anyone else have this?

I've got Hercules, Green Giant and Combiner Wars Devy, so I'm good on Constructicons. But I am tempted by that Jinbao Devastator. Ben I know they're apples and oranges, but with all these Devastators coming out, do you have a best recommendation (removing scale from the equation) like you did for all the KO Megs that's been running around?

I had to drip some floor polish in his fore arm pieces for the combined mode they did get a little loose with play - the rest of the joints are to borrow a praise off someone on TFW2005 "Buttery Smooth" the only very small issue worth a mention are the guns are a bit tight in the figures they are supposed to go with - but if you muddle them around they all fit.

Could you tell me how tall the figures are in combined mode? You only compare them to other OS and 3rd Party figures, so it's pretty difficult to figure the scale.

10" Inches (25.5cm) )to the top of his head (when combined). & he is 7" Inches (17cm) wide.

Ben didn't swing the hip piece around on Longhaul it actually fold under his crotch and sits on his backside - and is invisible from the front when folded up.

90 Lancaster Don't suppose you have the instructions for transforming these guys? So the crotch part on Longhaul sits at the back? What about Scrappers shovel and the shovel on Bonecrushers chest? Could you send me a scan of the instructions?

There isn't any on the boxes (not even on the back of the card - you just have to use Hulkie's Instructions or watch videos really) Yes you put Longhaul in the splits position move the crotch to the back and then rotate the side pieces up - it all sits nicely - it's not that different from how it sit in truck mode really. It only should be at the front in combined mode. Scrapper's shovel you just fold up as best you can and it sit on his shoulders/back as it does in the cartoon & the original toy. The double hinge on Bonecrusher's shovel is only there for robot mode - otherwise it just sits where you line in combined mode or vehicle mode. In robot mode the teeth of the blade rest in groves in the robot shoulders. War God is exactly the same as Hulkie aside from the lack of a swivel on scrapper's bucket. So Hulkie's Instructions or videos on Hulkie work just fine as a guide for him.

The (small yellow one has some strange faces) but yes in yellow it looks nice - they showed it in yellow and green at a show so I hope they'll do Yellow as well. I consider the old Hulkie to be a bit to wee - so the medium size one would do for a smaller than Mech Fans toys scale for me. these are passable as Mech Fans Toys scale though - Mixmaster is eye to eye with MFT Starscream & Machine Boy Optimus Prime.

He's taller and also contains some metal pieces in a few spots Plastic is as good as or a bit better than Mech fans toys Plastic. Mixmaster & Hook also have rolling wheels. I like them a lot - I'd even buy these exact one in yellow if they release the yellow one too. I can't measure them right now they are all in robot mode. But the individual robots are all around 12cm tall.

90 Lancaster So they're taller and overall larger in combined mode than the Xingbianshen yellow versions with less diecast? Which is the better quality? I own the Xingbianshen version. How much is the green one in the video and from where do you buy them? Is it the same make as my yellow one?

No it's a different brand It is "Wei Jiang" (or at least it was on their stand at a chinese toy show) No it's bigger (10" /25cm tall combined ) individual robots are 12cm tall (4.7 inches) The metal is in all of the chests - aside from Scavenger - where it is the bucket. I don't have the Xingbianshen (Yue Xing) one - but these ones seem to have better heads - but the Xingbianshen does have scrappers ankle tilt in combined mode which is missing on this toy. I can't say exactly as I don't have the Xingbianshen one, But the size difference is DX9 & Mech Fans toys ones are smallest (original size) then the Xingbianshen ones and then Wei Jiang one is the biggest at 12cm for each robot and 25.5cm combined. I thought I heard the Xingbianshen ones were about 10cm - but I don't own them - someone lower down this page does though - ask them. they can tell you the sizes for the Xingbianshen one I expect.
