the back actually cleans up a little better, there are two holes on the two sides of of the abs piece, you're suppose to rotate the front window section for about 45 degree and the nobs where the front part of the cap tab together can go in the holes, securing the entire backpack. the two doors and the two front window pieces are suppose to form the four pieces that resembles the wings of a bee, I actually quite like the design

I've got this guy. The backpack will tidy up significantly. And you had the chest transformed wrong. Haven't seen a review yet that got it right. If you use it to it's full advantage, it helps with the back.

This figure's alright but not great. I like the paint job on it (but the rooftop's stripes are inaccurate), the chrome wheels are better than the dull ones on MPM Bee, and the tribute to the custom made by Savio Prime is neat, but MPM wins hands down.

Ben, I love what you do. You and emgo are the only reviews I watch, and I usually appreciate every single one, but you're off on this one. You transformed the backpack and the arms incorrectly. He looks a lot better when transformed correctly. Is he masterpiece? No, but he's a good piece.

This is perfect for the REVENGE OF THE FALLEN Transformers Collection..see the bumper? That's the very sequel Bumblebee appears to have that bumper. DARK OF THE MOON Bumblebee has the same bumper but has a different transformation in Robot mode.. MPM-03 and all its knock offs are only for Movie 1 collection..

you miss transformed the right arm in bot mode... i presume the arm guard splits open which allows you to flip the blaster thus creating a more accurate arm guard... unless it's really like that which in turn makes it all more of a failed attempt...

TMan978 Yeah, I agree. I wanted to like it more when I saw it initially. But dang, those pieces in the back just loose goosy and no where to really put them. The neck, just a shade too anorexic looking. The transformation is meh. Those wheels stick out of the wheel wells way too much and the feet just look stupid under the car like they are. The only thing I think that's definitely better is the paint apps like others have said.

Take a look at 4:02 very carefully. MPM3 is shorter head-to-toe than M03, yet MPM3's waist is much higher. That means the MPM3's entire upper body is scrunched into the remaining space. That's not how he looks in the movies. M03 is a much better representation of the movie Bumblebee in bot mode. What's the best Bayformers figure right now in terms of overall engineering and overall aesthetics in both alt mode and robot mode? Because right now I think they're MPM-03, Wei Jiang M01, HA Jazz, and the new HA Silver and black repaint of Soundwave But between all those, it really boils down to MPM-03 and M01 What do you think?

Depends which you want more man, I'd say the MO-1, since it's way bigger, and comes with more accessories, but it boils down to if you want an amazing Optimus or an amazing bumblebee

I was going to bye this until I realised I could get the previous version for like £10 and that Detective or Commander are much bigger for the same price. So I think i'll wait to see if I can get him at a price closer to what he's worth like under £35.00 I do like the look though - even if I think shoehorning the mould back into car mode can be a pain in the tailpipe.

It seems the biggest flaw with this figure is that WeiJiang stuck with a pretty lame figure as their basis. While they did about as many improvements as you could to it, it still just wasn't enough. While it's no match at all for MPM-3, to say that MPM-3 is worth 2x the price of this guy is a little bit of a stretch IMO. Ultimately, the work WeiJiang did with M01 Evasion Optimus and M02 Hound far, far surpasses this guy. However, their original OS Hound figures were also extremely lackluster before they put out the M02 Hound, so there is a small hope they might have a better Bee in the pipeline!

Adam Luther I thought Battle Blades Bee is the best Deluxe Bee from all the movie lines so far to be honest. Maybe Dark of The Moon comes close...? So in my eyes it’s a great mold to use as the basis for a bootleg. 😀

To me, M03 looks a lot better than MPM3 in bot mode. The MPM3 has bad proportions: It's legs are too long and its chest is up too high and too scrawny---it has no neck. The paint on M03 looks far more impressive and the color is better plus it's a lot less expensive. When I first saw the M03, it had the wow factor for me. Now seeing it side by side with MPM3, I don't see how one can conclude that MPM3 is better.

Actually Mpm has better proportions. The chest on Hornet is too wide, the arms are too long and skinny and the neck is skinny. Also mpm has better articulation and accuracy.

Ben you missed transformed the back. It actually clean when its done. I would buy this. I have seen all the Hasbro and Takara Battle Blade Version. I understand that they came up with the original design. But Ig you don't improve on your own work somebody will see the holes in your work. LETS FACE IT ALL THE BUMBLEBEES FROM HASBRO AND TAKARA WAS ALWAYS MISSING SOMETHING. I LIKE THIS FOR MY COLLECTION. PAINT WORK IS EXCELLENT. WE ARE ADULT COLLECTORS. WE LIKE GOOD PAINT WORK. I agree with 10000%. The QC on this really isnt good. It's a very flimsy figure and panels dont stay in place. When 1 panel goes in another 1 pops out. I see where Wei Jiang was trying to go and I have a couple of their figures which I love but thumbs down on this 1. Leader class bee is way better
