Weighing Zipp 454 NSW with tires installed

today I'm weighing a set of Zipp 454 NSW with tires, rotors, cassette, and sealant installed.

So between your Litespeed and Lynskey’s, which do you think has the better fit and finish? I have an LS Ultimate Disc and wondered if Lynskey was a better option.

Hi Jarred, your question deserves a video on its own, and also depends on which Lynskey you are comparing to. That said, it is very subjective between my LS Cherohala and Lysnkey R500. Fits: Both bikes are great. The R500 given its aggressive geo and stiffer frame, I've felt fine after a 100 miles + 8000ft climbed. My LS and Lynskey have ALMOST identical road feel, but I'm leaning toward the modern tubes/geo from Lynskey. Finish: I do like the matt/industrial (not so glossy) look/finish that Lynskey has a lot compared to LS which is a little brighter for my taste. Quality/miscellaneous: Quality control I'd give it to LS, and I do prefer LS which 3D prints their logos and uses hard badges instead of stickers which Lynskey uses which can't even be upgraded (knitpicking). My LS is awesome, and I'm sure yours is a blast to have. Overall both LS and Lynskey are great. For some of us, it comes down to what we LIKE/WANT VS NEED. eg shapes/tubes, look, finish etc.. Hope my opinion helps.

You should do a full video discussing the r500. I’ve yet to see a full review on how it rides… I want this frame but might go for the helix pro just for the lack of info on the r500.

@@organicbikepacking7312 Thanks for getting back to me! Anything you could think of theres not much info on this frame and youre the only one to have a video on it at least discussing weight. Maybe a comparison between the r500 and the helix pro disc/litespeed, if possible? How ti might compare to a steel or carbon ride. Your own likes and dislikes about the frame/ride/company etc. Anything! Looking forward to it :)

In short (which is not a fair answer), they are noticeably snappier, stiffer, and faster than my ENVE 65 in almost any conditions except "straight up" headwind.

@@organicbikepacking7312 you need to weigh the wheels in grams. Wth is an ounce? The Foundation 65 are heavy right? Do you find them difficult to climb?

That makes sense. Not the heaviest for what they are 1620g, and they also climb great and SUPER tough. The problem is descending into crosswind or gust can be difficult. IMO their foundation 45s are a little better overall but too shallow for me.
