It now comes down to cost! Eating has become a challenge. When you go to the store it's unbelievable what they want for meat, vegetables, dairy, it hard for some people to eat healthy. I listen to your videos and try my best to follow what you say. Thank you!

same, i get grass fed organic beef, but it doesnt have to be from forces of nature as much as i would love it too, certain stores has a good slection at a pretty good price, aldi for example

That is very true! Sometimes, I'll buy bulk organic produce at a place like Costco and prep the food when I get home. It can help reduce cost and increase ready to eat food. It also reduces food waste. Keep trying you got this!

Would love a thyroid/autoimmune/anti-inflammatory diet discussion with real foods listed. SO many diets not hitting home because you guys are recommending specific mushroom, or salmon. Many Americans are eating pizza, burgers, and fast foods. Not asking much, huh? ;)

@drmarkhyman just ordered PGX, apart from having it with plenty of water is there anything else you’d recommend/caution with this? I usually eat a plate of baked broccoli followed by pamm sized protein (chicken/beef brisket) and sauerkraut, and healthy fat at the end. Weight has been stuck for ages eating this, so just started strength training (1x per week for now) and hoping the pgx daily pre-meal helps too. If you can create a video around this with what some healthy meas look like, that would be fab! Thanks for all your videos, they’re very educational! 😊

Dr. Hyman, I really appreciated the way you debunked those common weight loss myths! It's so important to focus on sustainable habits rather than quick fixes. What do you think is the most overlooked factor in achieving lasting weight loss?

I have so many clients that can’t tolerate all of that fiber, give up, and eat mostly carnivore. Please address gut testing to find the bad bugs that are methane producers causing belly bloat. GI Map did a great webinar on athletes with belly bloat. The advice: stop fiber, stop those HIIT workouts, heal the gut. The results were remarkable & made me rethink how I especially approach female clients

Farmers markets are not always cheap either. It costs them more to produce the product and they pass it on to us. I do not want any vegetables that have pesticides on them. I always have to ask, if they don't say anything.
@kelliea57292 ай бұрын
I watch the videos and agree with the content, but for one thing I am in Canada and a lot of the things you mention are not available here, the cost difference makes it difficult (shipping especially), the blood test results use completely different number, and lastly; I am on a pension so money is tight. Buying organic is expensive and the farm raised meats are really hard to get in y area…frustrating- I feel as if we need to be wealthy to be healthy.

Hi Dr. Hymann, I started the carnivore diet over a year ago. Dr. Chaffee says, "Plants are trying to kill you". The theory is plants have oxalates and anti-nutrients and can be inflammatory. But my local doctor wants me to add vegetables back into my diet. I'm nervous about that. I can't seem to get clarity in my mind about that topic. So much conflicting information.
@luddity8 күн бұрын
My favorite 'vegetables' are the ones that are actually fruits (botanically) and want to be eaten: Zucchini, eggplant, tomatoes, peppers, cucumber, squash, avocados, olives, etc.

What is the labeling change that you are trying to get? It's a wasted effort, but would be interesting to know what it is.

Only wasted if no one tries at all. But, with large, secret, donors giving big $$$ to politicians, it IS much more difficult to make needed changes!

Palm sized? I would be hungry all day if that's all I ate. I eat at least a hand sized and often much more then that. Fatty meat is all should and needs to be eaten. The proteins in non meat things, aren't even bio-available for the majority of humans. Time for me to move on.

Yes, there are a lot of benefits to eating in a shorter period of time (intermittent fasting). What does your body use for fuel? The big meal you ate six months ago, which is stored as fat on your body for just that situation!

We are eating less sugar? Not even close. What planet are you on? Do you mean table sugar? Because 98% of the world eats primarily carbs and all carbs end up and sugar in some form. So saying 'sugar' and not specifying what you mean, is being disingenuous.
