Her father was the solution to the perpetual hurt and possible unforgiveness she would have held against her friend forever and end up being hurt, herself, in the process. I am grateful to God that her father helped her mend things by desisting from putting TOO MUCH PRESSURE on her to get married. Marriage is not by power. My only dislike about the story from the writer is that 2 people cannot be BESTIES and Mya's friend would not, at least, know the name of Mya's ex-husband. Mya's friend never met Mya's husband but the fact that Mya kept talking about her ex, there's no way Mya would not have, somewhere along the line, mentioned her ex's name to her so that when Mya's friend met the guy and was told his name, simple curiosity would have made Mya's friend mentioned his name to Mya and they both would have, somehow, figured it was the ex. That way, Mya's friend would not have accepted to date him let alone envisage marriage. I believe the story could have been better crafted. It did not come out REAL.

Many people watch movies without their brains, which is why they pass even the most ridiculous movies as interesting. Movies are there to be critiqued, so producers can get serious. As a KOK TV production, I am surprised at the glaring lapses in this movie. The producer did not say anything about KOK's marital status. Is his wife dead? How does one explain the deep animosity his daughter feels towards him? This scenario has been made so much a focal point in this movie, so it should have been explained. Where does KOK stay, and how did his daughter come to occupy a big house alone. It's not as if the storyline is new at all. Yet, it could have been better if the above concerns were addressed.
