Don't know if it would or could happen again, but I miss the days when Turkey, Greece and Bulgaria were still the big players. Still it is also great when you have countries like France, Spain, Italy, Austria, Colombia and Chile in the running.

In the 2024 Paris Olympics, there will be only 5 weights for men, and only 12 lifters will compete in each weight, and the qualification system has been in place since 2022, which will be a strong competition between the lifters.

I understand he bumped up due to doping but lying that he has the Olympic record is not very sportsmanship like. Yes he cleaned it but he didn’t complete the lift officially
