@@thethrillman2844 absolutely. Seeing how Ri Song Gum is currently rated the highest on the Sinclair's of ALL weightlifters, the 49s especially. I personally am disappointed. I love Ri Song Gum, she's a monster

Thanyathon SUKCHAROEN from thailand also has the same total as Surorchana Khambao unfortunately for her Khambao hit it first so shes not qualified. Both have put in 200kg totals in at the cup. Either one has a good shot at taking silver or bronze at paris.

Apologies for the discrepancy. When this was written she was in 12th, but then the IWF updated their ranking and she dropped to 13th.

After reading the comments I decided to re-watch the video to find out why North Korea wasn't going to the Olympics. My question was answered. I now wonder how often someone lifts over 2 1/2 times their bodyweight though? Wait is it still possible that Lovely(don't recall her last name) from the Philippines will still possibly make it to the Olympics? I'm looking forward to watching the competition in Thailand.

Inan Lovely has a 183kg total 8 kilos lower than her Filipino team mate Rosegie Ramos, who currently ranks 9th. Both Ramos and Lovely have put in a 190 kilo total at the cup but will most likely want to get even higher total if they want to get into the Olympics. IMO it's unlikely Lovely goes to the Olympics in comparison to Ramos. She has not be able to out total her 183 set at Asians last year and will need to make probably around a 10 kilo higher total just to qualify.

Nina Streckx has actually moved up to the 59kg category but because of her total in Bogota worlds 2022 she is now ranked in both weight classes. This is hard for her because she is currently ranked 11th in the 59s but has a good shot of going because the US will probably not select Taylor Wilkins and China may not send Luo Shifang. With them out she only ranks 9th and will need to improve her total overall if she wants to ensure her spot in the 59s. If her placement in the 49s stays after the world cup and she isn't high enough in the 59s she will be most likely forced to move down again. Which would be a massive detriment to her. EDIT: Before people comment "why wouldn't china send Shifang?" IMO Shifang is the least dominant female Chinese lifter. She leads by "only" 11kg in the total while everyone else except for the 71kg guifang leads by a larger margin. She is also the only Chinese lifter to have not set a world record. While any female lifter from China could win gold, china wants the lifters that project dominance the most.
