weihrauch pellets hw100 part 1

Just had my HW100 back from Hull Cartridge UK for a service and they returned it serviced and tested on their chrono. With F.T Exacts my .22 returned Mean Velocity 571.64 fps with an S.D of 0.52 and Mean Muzzle Energy 11.54 and S.D of 0.02 I'm very impressed. This rifle when bench rested is putting pellet upon pellet at 30 yards. I thought it was a bit spendy when I bought it but it makes me smile every time I take it out. I actually use this rifle for centrefire bench rest technique practice as I know a duff shot is my fault.

Not so much that its me...the shooting range has a gym attached next door and they throw tractor tyres...hence the shake and bounce...thanks for watching

I'd be interested to know what the head sizes of the pellets was and if they were all the same, iv tested pellets in the past and found my rifles liked certain head sizes

hi , i think they only do them in 1 size , 4.52 some tins just say 4.5

You should place a camera closer to the target, if your going to film on or close to the rifle use a scope camera. I think that camera was actually on the shooting table.

My Daystate, with Daystate sovereigns, shoots like the JSB exact 4.52s in this test. Which is a shame, because I’ve now got, 2 full tins of JSB exact 4.52 and 4.53

jsb's are a bit cheaper than Sovs.i find the 4.53 a good all round pellet

Weihrauch pellets are H&H pellets. Always have been. Weihrauch dont make pellets. Look at thr back of the tin. You find the same pellet in a H&N tin. All the others you have there are JSB made.

Maybe so...but they are made on behalf of the seller...like cadbury,s making chocolate for tesco...for an example...( Maybe they do )

@@POINTSOFAIMcheekyscouser all they do is a specific run of one die packaged and labelled..the seller can specify a particular die they always order from but that's about it.they can't change the die, it is built that way. By the way Cadbury don't even make chocolate anymore.they just sell it. All the chocolate in the uk is now made by one company who have 3 massive plants and make all the chocolate. Including now Hotel chocolate. They do all the development work and then work with the various brands. I have a colleague who's wife does development work for them. We get lots of samples from m&s to Colin the caterpillar feet. I used to work in dairy that made cheese. We supplied all outlets with our cheese. For m&s it was in thier branding but all we did was select a batch that might of otherwise ended up in morrisons or tesco. Yoi paid for the extra labeling cost as we had to buy the labels. If you look at the label on the back of a tin of weihrauch pellets it's says H&N barracuda.

Around a 1 inch group at 50 metre. Aiming off . Not zero’d at that distance.

50 yards .22. 12ftlbs..not so easy..a small 5mph wind will blow the pellets off 1 inch

It’s all about the grouping, not the bullseye. I quite often move my poi off the bull when pellet testing whilst keeping the poa on the bull as, in my opinion, it gives a better test rather than blowing the bullseye out and losing your poa.

My Hw100 likes AA Diabalo hunters. .22 pellet on pellets at 30 yds .
