@@doncarlson8391 yeah it's my own personal grind I found out after the video that summit Racing has a camshaft called the big gun and that's not what I turned in I turned in my own thing but summit Racing contacted Eric and asked if that's the cam we turned in. And of course I was like what are you talking about that's when I found out they had a cam called the big gun. But yeah I'm swapping it out

Nice!! I hope all you guys have fun doing this project. I think it is going to be great. I’m hoping to see what is going to be the key thing to make it work. I think a lot of cams are going to be close. The other thing is drive ability . Which one works best for what. That would be cool to see also which people like you could really pound this home. Cause you put in a cam that’s meant to run 5 or 6 grand all day with a stick and drop it in a pickup with a automatic transmission and drive it in town all day long you’re not going to be happy. I think this is going to be a great fun test. I think it would be cool to if he gave vacuum readings also. I am happy that someone is just doing this. You should have put a log chain on that killer beast.

Man all this cam talk has got me trying to figure out how i can make a setup to regrind some stock cams. This is a 2.0 dohc 4g63. Back in the day they sold regrinds seems like they just take like 60 thousandths off the base circle then you have to shim the lifter up 60 thousandths to compensate. They were sold as clones of the popular HKS 272 cams.
