Not sure where it came from tbh but we say falcon for any ball hitting a players head in sport

When someone is on a tight angle they usually do a kicking technique where you hold the ball sideways and kick it so it’s spinning sideways so that it bends into the goals, we call that a “banana”. For example the commentators might say “he’s on a tight angle here he might go for a banana”
