@mikeyerian25622 күн бұрын
Paycor/Paul Brown Stadium's escalators were initially supposed to be covered. As far as accessibility, I've been there with a full house and getting in and out wasn't a problem at all. I think they wanted to go with a futuristic look (this was, after all, in 2000) and it was really different in its day. Having big circular ramps would look retro (even if they would be better). Overall I think it's a fine stadium, and I don't think it needs replaced. I didn't become an architect because I hate over-development, I hate how things that are perfectly fine get torn down, etc. Not that Paycor will get torn down, though Mike Brown is a genius at getting Hamilton County to do what he wants.

9:00 the scoreboards are shaped like the state of Tennessee, a secret homage to Jimmy Haslam's home state.
@ReinBlackwellКүн бұрын
Actually. The reason they are shaped like this is because, when viewing the stadium straight ahead coming in from the Shoreway(aka I-90 East going into Cleveland) you can see the scoreboards perfectly through a gap in the seating structure. When games are not being played the scoreboards act as giant billboards that can be seen from miles away.

Funny thing about Daily's Place: When the lockdowns were ordered, All Elite Wrestling was stuck recording shows there for about 15 months. Their weekly TV show, Wednesday Night Dynamite, had only been on for six months. If not for Daily's Place giving them a place to record shows in the meantime, the whole company might have gone under, just like the second XFL did.

Why can’t the NFL “FIX” the different divisions within the Conferences. I mean give me a break, Move Baltimore to the AFC East, Miami to the AFC South, and Indianapolis to the AFC north. Then you get new regional rivalries that can get the attention of the fans!
@MikeyKaos716Күн бұрын
The AFC East is a relic from the AFL and I'm guessing the league won't break up 60+ years of history together. Same with Baltimore/Pittsburgh (technically, if you count the Ravens going back to their days as the Cleveland Browns) as Baltimore/ Pittsburgh seems like it's a huge rivalry, so I think the backlash of losing that one would be massive. I'm not sure the AFC South has any historic rivalries that will be broken up, and about the only thing that might come from the Dolphins in the AFC South is the battle of Florida, if Jacksonville ever gets their act together or doesn't relocate. Besides, your logic breaks up the NFC East and breaks the whole division's long standing rivalries with Dallas, and I don't think anyone that's an NFC East fan would be on board with that.

you're forgetting the most important thing: money. The owners run the league & decide on the divisional setups. Dallas is in the NFC East bc of money - revenue - Jerry World makes more money by playing the New York/Philadelphia/DC markets. The owners aren't going to give up their money bc you don't like their divisions, lol.

Nice video. Fun fact: Cleveland Browns Stadium is primarily just 'Cleveland Browns Stadium.' The dumb sponsorship deals are just a secondary name that the municipality allowed for when they wrote up the contract back in 1997. But for all legal purposes it is just 'Cleveland Browns Stadium.' Huntington bank does not have nearly as much pull there, as for example, Nissan does over Nissan Stadium. So don't let the owners trick us into buttering Huntington banks ego so they can all get rich. It is just CLEVELAND BROWNS STADIUM :)
