The Slipknot thing is a coin purse, and the thing on the left is a loop so you can hook it into or onto your bag so you don't lose it at the bottom. It would be easier for women's clothing to have bigger pockets, but then we wouldn't have to spend money on bags that go inside other bags and that's bad for business
