@@YoMamaIsSweet that also wasn’t my point either lol Child birth is directly associated reproduction. A species can go on if a father dies from an enemy tribe arrow to the knee. If during childbirth the mother dies, the baby will likely die too. So those genes that played a role in causing the failed childbirth will not go on

In The Female Brain, published in 2006, Louann Brizendine, M.D. claimed that women say about 20,000 words a day, while men say about 7,000.This mirrored the stereotype of women talking three times as much as men. Mark Liberman, a linguistics professor at the University of Pennsylvania, decided to investigate the research that supported such a claim. What he found was that the statement about how much men and women talk came from a self-help book, with no academic citation referencing the statement. Reviewing similar assertions yielded word counts for women ranging from 4,000 to 25,000 words, again with no research supporting such statements. Brizendine retracted her statement when Liberman pointed out his research in a newspaper article, saying the statement would be deleted from future editions. However, the damage was done. This much-publicized, stereotypic sound bite will linger in people’s memories and get recycled in conversations. The retraction will not make the same impression. This is how myths about men and women acquire the status of facts. Source: Article from Psychology today by Catherine Aponte, Psy.D.,

Eh idk. Maybe most women or something idk I'm very confused because I have really terrible memory. One time my friend told me we met in junior high, I don't remember at all seeing him anywhere in junior high. I only remember seeing him in highschool. He was like "really, you don't remember me being there"? And I kinda danced around the truth and went "Idk maybe I do idk!" But I don't remember it at all for some reason. I only remember very specific things, like scenes in movies and tv shows, and I feel like that something a guy would more remember. But idk this biology stuff always confuses me.

@@whenyourealize5846 Generally women feel more inferior to men because society promotes masculinity and demotes feminity. Although men and women are equal in amount of abilities and skills it feels unbalanced because women were taught they could never be as "strong" as a man. Physically? Yes, men are generally more physically stronger. Mentally? No, women are generally more mentally stronger. Nobody has a problem with women's strengths because they feel a women should have some strengths. It's just a general imbalance due to general society's teachings. Love these videos so much. They help me understand both men and women deeper. And it kind of helps me see why there are stereotypes. Obviously, men and women do not have to follow “traditional” roles, but I can see why women tend to have been the more nurturing, family oriented because of our biology. And men likewise were more physically inclined which correlated to proving for their family.

A lot of women wants to rear children, which includes being pregnant, maternity leave, etc. This is very hard while in military service where you may be away from your family and even away from your country for many years. So women tend to prefer jobs with more flexible scheduling so they can schedule maternity leaves and be around to care for their children on a daily basis.

I find it disheartening how their "Weird facts about the male body" had disclaimers about men not being better than women, and having to defend themselves from people who might call them sexist, but need no such things for this video. Both videos were respectful and factual and both weren't offensive.

And I definitely know what you’re talking about with the people getting upset over it. I mean this comment section has men annoyed that this video was praising some of these biological advantages. The facts are facts regardless, and they have provided us with some study sources. At the end of the day, either party shouldn’t get upset or claim that overall one is better than the other- because that is simply false.

Love these. Just one suggestion: less versus fewer. As in “women tend to take less risks…” is more properly stated with “fewer risks”. Fewer relates to number; less to volume. Look for this very common error in most grocery stores - “10 items or less” is similarly incorrect. I’m a geek!

@@brettobannon7965 If women take fewer risks(few=emphasizes how comparably small a number is) then they take less risk( less= a smaller amount/quantity of something) So saying that women take less risks is a factually accurate statement and cannot be argued with whether grammatically or literally.
