Okay, basically, my grandmother had one of these, (not the Baby Jace Doll obviously), they’re called ‘reborn dolls’ creepy name, ngl, and she used to use the doll to knit clothes for her other grandkids, and that would be a kind of model, underneath its soft and plush, like a pillow, and the only bits that are actually silicone are the feet/legs depending on where the original clothes go to, the arms and the head, hope I helped 😊

Fun story, my grandmother who underwent serious traumatic brain damage had two dolls made to replicate the her two children (my mom and her brother) at different ages. Life sized 10 year old of my mom, life sized 2 year old of her brother who died at 18 years old. It was deeply unsettling and when my grandmother passed away, my mom kept the dolls because she was so saddened by the series of events that led up to my grandmother's death. I used to set the dolls out every year for Halloween, otherwise they live in a closet which stores coats.
