Girl no!😂 You put it on you finger then grab your top lashes and pull your bottom down. You slowly put it in your eye looking straight at it and make sure it doesn't touch your lashes or it won't go in. Once it's in look side to side while still holding your lashes then slowly release your lashes! I have prescription contacts so trust me. To take out pull down your bottom lashes and with two fingers GENTLY squeeze your contact out. If you aren't gentle your contact will rip. Hope that helps!!

they're multiple ways of putting contacts in. Yours is not the only one. I actually find way harder to put them in if I'm pulling my top and bottom lids down at the same time and then also looking directly at the contact. I only pull my bottom lid down, look in the top right corner, and place the contact on the cornea. Then I just gently close my eyes and move my eyes from side to side. To take them out, again, I look in the top right corner and I drag the contact off the iris and on the cornea and then I just take it out using my fingers

I have tried for weeks to do it the right way. Only when i tried with an applicator and pulling the bottom eye lid and looking up was i finally successful. It burned a little so i took it out. Problem was is i put the contact in the correct way. Shape of a bowl. That doesn't work with me apparently the only way for me to wear color contacts comfortably is to wear them inside out.

GIRL THOSE CONTACTS ARE POPPIN. Btw a tip on how to put them on easily with your finger is to make sure your finger isn't wet from the contact solution! Has to be 100% dry trust me I had the same exact issue lol then I figured that the contact always gets stuck to my finger because of the solution! maskw03 try to get your finger as dry as possible and then place the contact in your eye. One way to do this is to take the contact out of its package by placing it in the palm of your hand and then placing it on your finger so that there’s less contact solution on your finger since it’ll be on the palm instead.

So I'm an optometric technician and I've been in Optometry for five years now. I teach patients how to put contacts on and off all the time. The tool she is using is called a plunger. It's NOT meant to be used on soft contacts, only on hard contacts. If you're interested in contacts and how to use them please please seek out your optometrist! The staff will happily help you to learn the proper and safe way to handle and apply your contacts. Also please make sure the contacts you get are actually FDA approved. Many companies do not store or seal or use the proper solutions with their packaging. I love wearing colored contacts and it's a great way to feel fashionable but do it in a safe and healthy way! If anyone has questions I'm happy to answer.

I really struggled putting my contacts in (as I've started to use them) But I wanted to tell you how I do it. So if I want to put my left contact in, I'm standing (in front of the mirror) sideways so I see only the "white" part of my LEFT eye. (You should be near the mirror with your RIGHT eye) Then you have the contact on the "white" part and to get it on the Iris you have to look left. (Left eye=look left;Right eye=look right). And with a bit of practise you can do it even quicker! (sorry for my english)

I have a tip for you for inserting the contact lenses that could possibly help you have an easier time putting them in. I've been wearing contacts for about 3 years now due to horrible eyesight. When first started wearing them I had tonnes of trouble putting them in and it would take me at least 30 mins to get them both in my eyes. I was doing it the way you were doing it by looking to the side whilst inserting them. This just wasn't working for me to I tried putting them in while looking straight ahead. For me the contact just goes straight onto my eye! Now I have no trouble at all with my contact :) I hope this helps you out

I recommend you put in your contacts with your eyes facing straight forward, it doesn't fall out. Another thing why it might be falling out is if they are flipped inside out. If you want to make sure they are not, check the edges, if it's a complete bowl shape and not bending on the edges it's good to put in, if it's still a bowl shape but curls on the edges that means your putting it in wrong. And I think I know why it burned too, 1. Either you didn't wash your hands before,2. The contacts are not washed or cleaned. 3. Your contacts are dried out. I hope you might have found this comment useful or to anyone who is reading it found it useful if they are having these problems..

Thank you for posting your struggle!!! I have SO much trouble getting my contacts in. Contact lenses for astigmatism are larger than your typical non-astigmatism lenses, so it's just that much more difficult. Karim Karim when looking in the mirror, look at your reflections of you eyes instead of looking directly at the contact lens because that usually makes you more prone to blinking when putting them in

lydia kuszpit if you want a different color, there are colored contacts. But I wouldn't do that. You were born that way and you should be proud of your features. Don't let anyone tell you that your eyes aren't pretty. I bet they are amazing

Planos are harder because they're thin and want to flip over and fall over. If you're having problem with the contact not sticking to your eyeball, but wanting to stick to your finger, make sure your eye is wetter than your finger. You can put a drop of contact solution on the inside of the contacts so it'll suck up to your eyeball when you put it in. That is by far the hardest thing for me is my eyes are always dry her than my fingers. I have two different prescriptions, and the eye that has the stronger prescription is the easiest contacts to put in, because they're thicker and a little more sturdy, if that makes sense.

Youre eye burns because you put contact cleaner right before putting it in your eyes!! The cleaner is ONLY for when its in container. You can really hurt your eyes like that!

U can't damage ur eye from the wrong contacts. There's tons of brands and if ur not sure on em. Utube it. Plus the only real way to damage ur eyes with colored contacts or even just clear is to take care of them wrong.

There are many cases of people buying expired or unsafe colored contacts and getting infections from them because the manufacturer doesn’t comply with safety regulations. Just talk to an eye doctor and see what brands they recommend.

Hold both the upper and lower eyelid. You are having issues opening your eye wide enough and twiching. Also, with clean hands, practice touching the contact with your finger a couple times. It you realize that it doesn't hurt to touch your eye with a contact, it will get easier to keep your eye open.
