Well, that was certainly a theory. : ) That was Money Mark as the hitchhiker with the Area 51 sign. He produced ‘SNACK TIME’, the CD this song is from. He’s probably best known for his work with the Beastie Boys. AG! had previously done a Japanese version of ‘Intergalactic’, which is definitely worth seeing.

Atarashii Gakko have such an interesting style. You guys should check out the collaboration they did with Maximum the Hormone a couple weeks ago. The song is "Shimi feat. Atarashii Gakko!", it's on the Maximum the Hormone KZbin channel

This was a very entertaining music video from Atarashii Gakko, a group that my granddaughter knew about before I did and really enjoys. The setting looks like the California desert east of Los Angeles, maybe around Joshua Tree. Probably the same area where the music video for the song Memorable by Band-Maid would later be filmed. When I read the lyrics, I got an aspirational vibe from them - live long, live well, die peacefully. Although I am not a fan of the taste of pineapple, there is nothing toxic in pineapple. In fact, pineapple provides many of the same health benefits of turmeric, which is what I take (I really don't like the taste of pineapple) so that I will live long, live well, and die peacefully.

It’s not a song about abortion. I suspect the choice of pineapple was perhaps inspired by the video “PIKOTARO PPAP (Pen Pinapple Apple Pen).” I encourage you to take a look. It’s more straightforward: The world was being attacked by aliens (despite assurances being delivered by the newscaster), but AG realized that pineapple was the alien’s kryptonite, defeated the alien, and saved the world.
