Clever editing. I'm wondering if lures in the general category are designed more for being bought by the fishermen because it catches their eye then anything else. They all seem to eventually catch fish.
@618Fishing6 жыл бұрын
Alan S. Yeah that seams to be the case with most new lures these days, but you never know... it may actually catch some fish as well!

I actually ordered a few of these last summer from BASS PRO along with a bunch of other panfish baits. Mainly small crankbaits. I’m a creek fishin fool and I use a lot of crawdad imitations. These small/weird lure challenges are awesome cause that’s mostly what I fish with here in WV. I enjoy your videos man. Keep up the good work and I can’t wait for the next one.

Great video 618. Do a challenge on the buggs lure. I just got one but waiting for our weather over here in Texas to clear up. I've heard so many positive things about this lure that I had to get one. Try it out on the pond, I don't really believe it's for fresh water but I feel that if fish are hungry they'll go after anything. btw, love all your vids. Hello from Houston, Texas..., tight lines never stop!

618, AWESOME editing! Yeah, always change out those garbage stock hooks man! I use Gamakatsu's on my larger crank baits and Eagle Claw Lazer Sharp trebles in the appropriate sizes for smaller crank baits; like the BPS crawfish lure you used in this video. Great job as usual...keep it up!!!

I use these style baits all the time. The Rebel Crickhopper in yellow is a killer. Catches bream, bass and crappie. It comes with the smaller hooks so they do not get tangled. I have even taken them off and fished with one larger hook at the rear to target bigger fish. Killer action and it floats when it first hits the water. Dives to about 3 feet. I have one of these from Bass Pro Shop but mine sinks when it hits the water. No catch yet but a few hits.

I would say that you did an outstanding job catching anything on a crawdad lure during winter...this is not the time of year for crawdad lures...nearly all real crawdads are buried up in mud during winter...the rebel crawfish is a much, much better lure...of course it costs more...
@Htownrule3 жыл бұрын
What size hook did you use? I’m having the same problem with that lure, my hooks keep on hugging each other on cast. I’ve done caught many Bass & bluegills using that crawfish🦞 lure..

I love my lure but I’m having the same problem as the guy in the video. Both hooks keep hugging on cast out, he changed hooks but never said what hook size he change. I’m gonna experiment tomorrow to find the right hook size, I’ve caught tons of Bass & bluegill using it. The motion of the lure entice them to strike once you get the lures motion mastered on the reel. All I know is my local creek fish can’t resist this lure.

Whats the model/length/action of the rod you're using? I figure its a ultralight but when I click the link you have in the description it does not show the model. Is your ultralight a 4 piece and if not what would recommend as a 4 piece ultralight? Thanks!
