Honestly it is the responsibility of the person with the account, not the content creators. When you make an account you are required to be honest about your own age and are responsible for anyone else who is watching via your account. There is already a "kid friendly" section of KZbin (that honestly is a bit scary), the rest of the platform is obviously not solely devoted to entertaining young children...

The video creator knows what audience to target and will adjust their ratings as such. They don't need KZbin support to do it for them and fuck everything up. Hell there are videos that straight up say "18+ viewers only" and KZbin has the titanium balls to mark it for kids, the exact opposite of the audience the video is suppose to be for.

That or we actually go out and socialize with all manner of parents on the street. As much as one would hate it, one would have to strike up casual, "understanding" conversations with overprotective mothers and/or Karens. If these people subject their kids to KZbinKids, bring up that even the most goriest of profane animations end up there, presenting them with anything of that ilk. If the reaction is "good", hopefully the jungle telegraph will go out to all parents world wide to uninstall KZbinKids. If KZbin sees the numbers plummet, hopefully they'll pull the plug on that side of things.

His name is Sparky. Also, unpopular opinion, but I actually like the little guy and think most of the hate towards him is just stupid. I mean I get his 3D design isn't so great, but for crying out loud, he's a freaking BABY who's yet to fully control his powers and understand the world around him (though he seems to have gotten a little better with both in recent episodes). It's like the initial Flurry Heart hate all over again. 🙄

@Jordan Trainor I think hate is a strong word for me. I don't hate Sparky as a character, I _do_ hate his design. I never hated Flurry, she was at least a cute baby. I never even understood the hate for Flurry. Maybe it was just "baby = annoying"? But Sparky looks more like a discount gremlin than a dragon, because designing 3d models is difficult. I mean, Spike was a baby dragon too but he didn't look like a low-budget sock puppet.
