Weird Mario 2 Corrupted Music

A corruption I found a while ago with vinesauce rom corruptor, here are the details of the corruption
Game - Super Mario Bros. 2 (US) on NES
Start Byte - 0
End Byte - 4000F
Corrupt Every 11th Byte
Add 2 to Byte
Shift Right 1 Byte
Replace 3 with 1 (this is the corruption method selected)
Enable NES CPU Jam Protection on
Both text replacement and color replacement are disabled
One really weird thing about this corruption is that depending on character (I think) and the frame you select your character on the character select, the music changes slightly. I don't notice too many changes other than some notes may be a different pitch or the beginning of the song is faster or slower
IIRC, this specific song was made by selecting Luigi just a few seconds before the normal character select music played
