Weird Battle Mode in DDR EXTREME (NA PS2)?

If only someone made a "Battle Mode" hack that gives every song a "Battle Now!" chart... It won't have any freeze arrows, but you get the picture. I did experiment with some "Battle Now!" charts for select DDR songs, and I just wish Battle Mode came back in some form... Sure the SuperNOVA-X Battle Mode is fun, but it's Dance Magic mode from Disney's Rave CS. The Battle Mode that I'm more used to is the dedicated "Battle Now!" charts 4thMIX had.

I don’t know when the first battle mode appeared but there was a mode in DDR Konamix, half a year before this I think?
