First off you're allowed to take bathroom breaks during matches. You're allowed 2 in a 5 set, and 1 in a 3 set, but only in between sets. Second to be honest you wouldn't actually need to take breaks very often if at all in most cases even in a 5+ hours long match. I mean I'm relatively good at tennis and so are my opponents, though nowhere near the pro level ofc, but whatever water we drink before and during the matches we just sweat away. So in pro matches with seemingly endless rallys and people sending missiles all the damn time ? Most of the time players, pro or not, do it in the middle of sets to break their opponents' momentum, not 'cause they actually HAVE to go. That's not always true obviously, but still that's why that rule exists.

@@DobrWells Yeah, I should add if you really can't wait and have to go during a set you can, but you'll have to surrender the current/next game (possibly several) to your opponent, depending on the umpire's ruling and how much time you take.
