Probably the most important thing which I failed to mention… a lesson learned from this lot acquisition as far as the damaged items. In the future it may be necessary for any of us purchasing these types of groupings to message the seller directly and request they package the items carefully in a BOX, and perhaps mention that you have received lots in envelopes resulting in broken items and potential negative feedback etc. just to be explicit they don’t pull this crap. Common sense appears to be an increasingly scarce commodity.

The first little scissors you picked up were tin snips. That little gun toward the end was pretty awesome

The working Deringer was really interesting information and a really cool item. That alone would have made me interested in the lot.

The glass bottle with the red-and-white wires is a holiday miniature. It’s a candy jar with peppermint sticks inside.

That little mouse was a school carnival favor we received in the 70s, like the dyed rabbits' feet and the little plastic capsules that had a steel ball inside, so they rolled funny.

Oh ok cool. Were the capsules with the steel ball a knockoff Weeble-Wobble?

@CollectorChronicles same idea, but they did not remain upright, they just rolled around funny as the ball inside was free to roll from end to end. I've been looking for some for many years.

@@wolfsmith2865 hmmm was it spherical in shape? It sounds familiar but I grew up in the 80s. There’s stuff I only saw at carnivals or church picnics. I can keep an eye out if I have an idea what they look like. I have a little hard plastic guy that looks like a tiny inflatable punching toy animal with a bb size steel ball inside.

@@CollectorChronicles they were shaped like a gelatin capsule, about the same size, too. Like a benadryl capsule, but slightly larger. They were often two colors, often had faces stamped on one end.

@@wolfsmith2865 ok, I have seen them. I’m not sure if I have one in my stash. I know I have a few Mexican jumping beans which were in similar capsules but for some reason I remember one with something heavier like a steel ball in there.

The things you said look like court jester? I believe those have something to do with either the girl scouts or the brownies

OK, cool! I’ve never seen them before. Thanks for watching and helping with the ID! 🕵🏻♀️
