I have seen quite a bit of comments asking about how FNaF correlates to the weirdcore aesthetic. I would consider it to be weirdcore, in the sense that FNaF is nostalgic. It takes place in a 80s style pizza place, which is a lot of your stereotypical weirdcore/dreamcore/kidcore images. Without knowing the lore of FNaf and just looking at the animatronics and setting, one may find it nostalgic in a mildly disturbing way.
