Another maybe under the radar weird transfer is Ihataren on loan to Ajax with an option to buy for 2 mil. Was one of the biggest young stars in the Netherlands with PSV. Could not get on with the new manager and forced a move out to Juventus who loaned him out to Sampdoria where he never showed up for some weird reasons. Fell of the face of the earth for a couple weeks, was found in his hometown just working out and now got a chance to play for the other biggest club in the Netherlands.

Sergio Oliveira isnt our best midfielder. Vitinha is. Hes a great player but its time for him to leave. Financially its the right moment and honestly Porto have 2 youngsters midfielders that can replace him - Vitinha and Fabio Vieira. Sergio Oliveira has barely played this season because of it.

We got rid of Ramsey who was a waste of recources and Bentancur and Kulusevski who were never first team quality, especially now under Allegri. Its just a dip in form that they have been well overdue for a year and a half. They will be fine and they will get back to form and retain the League in a much closer battle at the end of the season. Celtic on the other hand have been superb for about the last 3 months but they can't possibly keep it up and they too will sometime down the line have a dip in form as well. Either way Ange Postecoglu (fellow Aussie) has done an outstanding jpb and will stay regardless of the end result is.

He proved that at Feyenoord where in his first season, he overcame the might of Ten Haag and Ajax to win them their first title in 15 years despite spending very little and mostly relying on Academy projects. Ange by comparison generally tends to wrap up Leagues with ease and hasn't had any proper competition at club level until now. So its going to incredibly difficult for him.

Ten Hag wasn't the Ajax manager in the 2016/17 season. That was Peter Bosz. And the team Ajax had back then wasn't nearly as good as the teams over the last 3 years were either.

The Insigne transfer is WIERD!!! If he was going to the MLS, he should have gone to Seattle, LA, or NYCFC not Toronto. Toronto don't have title hopes right now, the others do. Its just a cash grab. Nani has actually been decent with Orlando, helping them win the MLS Is Back Cup in 2020 and making a pair of deep playoff runs.
