For me, the most "Star Wars" thing about that episode of the Mandalorian was that town from the opening scene. It seemed to have some decent sized buildings in the distance, even if the graffiti-covered area that Mando was in was the bad part of town. Either way, I loved that apparently the people who live in this minor city just accept that certain areas are overly infested with large, carnivorous monsters that will rip you apart if the lights go out. The mayor can't be bothered to hire somebody with a blaster to clear them out.

So fun fact, that same monster tamer comes up again in cannon, in the aftermath trilogy as a cut away chapter. Cobb Vanth actually reaches out to him as he is wallowing in depression after his best rancor friend is killed. Cobb gives him a baby Hutt to take care of in his town. Bummed he wasn't in the background in the latest mandolorian episode. Any who great 03rd episode, really planning for 500 of these bad boys, can't wait.

My theory is the dragon ate the surlack and it allowed Boba Fett to escape but he had to abandon his armor. The Jawa found it and eventually giving it to whats his face. Hearing about the armor and Mando, was heading there.

I think Mando's initial armour is Beskar, but it's old and battered and gets pretty much utterly fucked in the Quest For The Jawas Breakfast. So that's why he gets/needs his shiny new armour. Possibly...

No Beskar wouldn't get that messed up. Beskar can resist lightsaber blades, the stuff in the jawa quest wouldn't harm it. Also him getting beskar armor was kinda meant to symbolize him seeing himself as a true Mandolorian.

I doubt you will see this, but the krayt dragon in the episode is a greater krayt dragon, a subspecies of regular krayt dragons. They have ten legs and are massive, able to swim through sand like its water. In the show, even once the krayt dragon is being carved, you only see the top half of the neck and the head, and the rest of the dragon is underground. Edit: interesting fact, they have also been known to feed on sarlaacs, female ones. (The female ones are the large ones that can't move. Males are smaller, can move, and live basically as parasites inside the much larger female.)

Discretion is up the officer, but you can definitely get pulled over for it in some states and given an additional ticket for it if you're involved in an accident. I'm not really buying this setting / filming technique, it does feel cheap-ish and more disconnected. The only times the camera pulls away is when they're zooming across empty deserts and even that feels less epic than prequels due to more subdued and weaker music. The Mos whatever looks like it has 5 houses, all the shots are close and the scale is just lacking imo. I like the show it's just extremely predictable and formulaic at this point. If you've played Kotor you know from the very second they mentioned the Krayt dragon how it's gonna go beat by beat.

A prequel might be cool, but I think her life is already really well covered in the books. Also, the Mando always had beskar armour it's just that the first set was losing it's integrity. I don't think you can conceivably bring Jyn Erso back beyond a prequel. I still think Disney+ should have one-off stories each Christmas (i.e. a Special) every year, about the characters who don't warrant a full series or feature film, eg a Wookiee story, an Ewok story, a Droids story, a Leia story, a Pod Racing story etc. A Jyn Erso prequel, a story from a couple of years previous to Rogue One, would fit in to that idea. Alternatively, I want to see a Modesty Blaise movie series, and I would happily cast either Felicity Jones or Daisy Ridley as the character. I do like their potential to carry a new spy series, especially in a period setting.
