The Breakfast Bunch episode was weird to me also. What I did think was kind of off was when they make a "Where's the beef?" reference in this April Fool's Day episode and say "Kids won't get that". Like ok they won't get a reference to an ad campaign that Wendy's brought back the year before the episode aired, but WILL get an entire episode referencing a (at the time) nearly 30 year old high school comedy?
