Hey Weird History, can we get a video about the My Lai massacre in the Vietnam War?
@douglasallen5114 жыл бұрын
No ! That was a left-wing dirty hippie commie fake news conspiracy to hurt the US on the international scene and and help the Viet Cong get sympathy. So yeah No.

Queen Victoria didn't technically 'rule'. She was a figurehead just like Elizabeth II.

@@maddisonjackson6563 England has had a functioning parliament for about a thousand years. The last monarch who tried to rule without consent had his head removed.

Its a myth that the Irish hate the English today. Its the establishment that they hate and in general the Irish hate rules and regulations. The worse thing we did was force our culture onto the Irish and told them what they should be doing.
@h4rdi7g33 жыл бұрын
@Doctor Remulak So the British government formally apologised for all the wrongs and yet the Irish still use the past to hate the English? Am I to take it that what the Irish want then is for the English to live on their knees begging for forgiveness for ever? And you wonder why the English don't apologise.

Ben Little During the Irish famine in 1845, there was a blight that caused the potatoes to be uneatable. That would have been a giant problem if potatoes were the only thing the Irish ate. Irish people grew other food, but they were forced to sell it to Britain. So they had nothing to eat
@saku5774 жыл бұрын
@@toker6664 A whopping third of Ireland's population died or emigrated as a result of the famine. The whole thing was basically fabricated by the British, who could have stopped it at any point. Instead, they sent over missionaries who gave food only to those Irish people who abdicated from the Catholic Church and converted to the Church of England.
