It’s just the concept of a build-able pizza and nothing from Oscar Meyer. We do also have “charcuterie boxes” with a cheese stick, three different deli meats rolled up, a boiled egg, crackers, and fruit and carrots. So it meets all the requirements. But kids at the jr high I work at don’t really like them. They want hot food.

I really don't get the adult fascination with these. You'd have to eat about four or five of them to get full, and they're about 5 times the cost of the food that's in them. If you're a young adult trying to get a foothold in the working world, you're buying crackers, ham and cheese and making your own Lunchables for a small fraction of the price. That is if you still have the palate of a 7-year old.

The U.S. Army kept having requests from Soldiers to have pizza MREs. They didn’t know how to make it work. The best they could do was a pizza you could assemble. The biggest critics made comments about how the MRE is meant to be “Ready-to-eat”. They didn’t want the Soldiers to have a lunchable on the battlefield. Having to assemble their pizza on the go. I thought that was an interesting analogy. They’ve now made a complete, ready-to-eat pizza that isn’t great but isn’t horrible.
