There used to be a Clark gas station across the street. It closed some time in 2008 as "The Workingman's Friend", and sat there until it got demolished in 2019.

There used to be a Rax in Butler back in the 80s. The building still exists but is an Italian restaurant called Villa Grande.

Rax suffered from several poor management decisions that almost totally wiped out the chain. The ones that are left were franchise locations and they have purchased the intellectual property to keep Rax alive. There is a Bojangles in Reading, PA 95th street highway) if you are in that area.

I've already commented on your Rax videos, and all I have to say is you are a god among men. Every time I go through Southeast Ohio I tried to hit at least one Rax, and I'm coming from Central Michigan usually on my way to the East Coast. I grew up on Rax and everything you're doing right now in this video is making me crazy and wanting to get in the car for a five and a half hour drive to Rax once again

You've got me planning a trip to the closest Rax in Joliet IL just out of curiosity. It's a four hour drive from me, but I don't care, I need to try this place. UPDATE: The deed has been done. It was awesome. Now I'm annoyed that there are none in Iowa. That said, the one in Joliet would be a perfect location to stop whenever I drive to Detroit, so assuming it doesn't close I'll have to start making that my road trip lunch break.

There used to be a Rax on rt.981 and 22 in New Alexandria Pa. It is a Custard place now, across from Sheetz. And one in Latrobe.

In 2015 there only 15 Rax locations left, the last one in Indiana closed in 2011. It will probably eventually go away. It was yummy, but things move one.

There was a Rax in Columbus, Georgia back in the 80s although I never got to eat there. About the mid to late 90s it became a Kenny Roger's Roasters and around the early 2000s became and still currently is an IHOP

There is still a Rax in the middle of nowhere in Kentucky in Harlan. My son was there back in the winter and had never heard of Rax until he was there.

Mt. Pleasant, PA. had a Rax with a huge solarium, then got demolished for a Taco Bell in the 90s, then a shoebox Taco Bell now.

Rax used to be all over Western PA with locations in DuBois, Brookville, Indiana, Punxsutawney, Greensburg, Clarion, Cranberry (the one up by Oil City), etc. They started disappearing in the mid-early 1990s. I noticed long ago that so many businesses bypass Pittsburgh and I am not sure why. I would love to see a BJ's Wholesale in the area as well as Meijer. The Meijer coming to Boardman is close to PA and gives some hope that they might jump into Pittsburgh next. The one missing business that hurts the most is Wegmans. Pittsburgh is the only large PA city where they are not located and people really are missing out. I have nothing against Giant Eagle, so Market District is a nice store and takes some of the sting out of the lack of Wegmans. I love retail and such, so keep up with the good work and stay safe out there!

We had a Rax on rt. 8 in Hampton twp. Right by the turnpike entrance. Loved that place. Then they turned it into a Miami Subs. 😭

I dont know, if you ever heard of Dog And Suds,, it was a very popular fast food place back in the 60's and 70's, Think there is 5 or 6 left, thankfully, there is one in Tomahawk WI, so I can get my fix once a year

Believe it or not Skyline is one of my favorite places to eat plus there is skyline in Wilmington Ohio and yes it is in business and it is only one that I know of that will serve icecream and milkshake I am not even joking it will serve icecream and milkshake I never been to any other skylines that will serve that it is really cool too.
