Meteos is right, in a way. Germany has laws restricting language around N*zism and H*tler, whereas there are no such laws in the US. Excluding hate speech or threats of/calls to violence, language that would be illegal in Germany could be protected under the 1st Amendment in the US. But I don't think you can say one way or another whether those references would be more controversial or seen as immoral in one country vs another.

I'll give you an example on why you can specifically classify words as hate speech. Let's take the internet's favorite word 'Nword' let's say everyone is on board to ban it. Then Congress passes a law to ban citizens from specifically using that word. Then a few months later a new word gains traction within communities replacing the said banned word. And then the cycle continues. And why is it okay for people to decide on what language you use and don't use. There's a very clear difference between actual hate speech and speech you hate.

Why do so many people feel the need to complain about DL? What do you gain from that? How does that do anything? You have a limited amount of time each day and not only did you watch a 1+ hour video with a person you clearly do not enjoy, but you wrote needlessly toxic and negative comments underneath. Why?
