Let's see if #CoachPrime #johntheliquidator says Dayon Hayes is running from competition at Pitt. Hmmm, maybe they only say that when a player wants to leave CU Buffs.

Yes, it is time to retire that phrase "running from competition" for any player on the portal. It's tired. Players leave any school for whatever reason. I do think it is fair to say that they leave one school for a better opportunity at the next school. The definition of opportunity will vary for each player - could be playing time, how you fit into the scheme, money, caliber of coaching, etc. Players leave, players arrive - this is the new normal.
