As a life-long Geelong supporter, I can honestly say that Zach Tuohy is one of the most popular blokes going around - who wouldn't love to have a beer with him. His kicking skills are elite, both long kicking and passing under pressure. It's amazing for a bloke that did not grow up kicking the oval ball every day. And you will note that he was carried off the ground in his 250th game after the Grand Final with the Portlaoise flag - I had to google where that was in Ireland, but fair to say that he's proud of his roots. Go Cats!

Proud to have Irish ancestry (county Offaly) and so proud he plays for the Cats. It might have taken 250 games to get to the ultimate but he did it and Mark O'Connor too. Hope they both can be Cats recruiters if they decide to move back to Ireland permanently.

Not just a great player, but a great team mate and clubman. As a Cats fan, I am thankful we have the joy of watching him play in the hoops!

Didn't some of the Geelong supporters have the portlaoise flag in the crowd after winning the semi final.
